Outlet Valves

Bottom outlet valves are usually installed at the lowest point of the glass-lined reactors and are used for draining the contents from these reactors. A CS-fabricated PFA-Lined Bottom Outlet Valve gets used in corrosive fluid applications at high temperatures and is positioned at the bottom of the lowest nozzle of the glass-lined reactors.
According to its PFA-lined construction of a Y-Type Body and Operating spindle & design of the PTFE valve sheet, it is classified as a Down-To-Open or Upper-To-Open design. These valves can usually house a temperature sensor at the core with a tantalum sensing tip, allowing accurate and reliable temperature measurement at the lowest point in the vessel.
Manual and actuated models are available; due to the location of the valve, low-profile designs are also offered to accommodate space restrictions. Self-actuating valves are also provided with a controllable device that controls valves based on the linear movement of the PFA-Lined Spindle. Additionally,
the side nozzle functions as an easy-to-operate, easy-to-clean, self-draining valve that allows for a variety of functions without the need to interrupt the process or dismantle the valve. Its cleaning side nozzle is unique from other bottom outlet valves and can be considered quite cost-effective when considering the downtime that is avoided by not having to dismantle the valve for cleaning between batches. Various tests, such as hydrostatic pressure testing, Electrostatic spark testing and dimensional verification are performed as needed.

  2. Hydrostatic Pressure Test: 7.5 Kg/Cm².
